Tamil Genocide Remembrance Gathering hosted by the Office of Councillor Neethan Shan The office of Councillor Shan in collaboration with Tamil Community Centre invites community for a Tamil Genocide Remembrance Gathering, an opportunity to honour and reflect on the lives lost and the enduring impacts experienced by Tamil communities. This gathering is a space for remembrance, solidarity, and community reflection. It recognizes the importance of bearing witness to history, uplifting survivor voices, and reaffirming a commitment to dignity, justice, and human rights for all. We come together in a spirit of respect, care, and collective responsibility as we acknowledge the pain carried across generations and the resilience of Tamil communities in Toronto and beyond.
